Hi guys,,, I recently got a Bold 9700 and just wanted to install a theme however the IT policy is blocking me from installing anything or even using the media card? Can I remove it temporarily without screwing up my BES email service? I don�t have access to the computer to resynch everything is done via inotes synching.
I tried to remove the IT policy with crackutils but it wiped the device and screwed up my BES and I needed the administrator to redo the BES connection.
i believe they force the IT policy every couple of hours?
It is not a wise idea to remove your IT policy on your work-issued device. If you value your employment, you should leave it alone. That could be grounds for termination.
Ive not had the same issue as you withe the device wiping i used CrackUtil in advanced section typed ResetITPolicy and it did its thing after i put the software on i wanted i then reactivated via bes ?
Not to say I dont agree with lak611s answer as it may but not in my case be grounds for termination or removal of the device.
