I have a 9700 with OS6.

I am looking for a way to eliminate, or make transparent, the banner background at the top of my 9700's home screen. The background covers about 1/4 of my wallpaper (I use my own jpeg).

I cannot tell from the themes available, which one may do this. Or perhaps I'm just missing a configuration item. I am fine with the data information, just want to eliminate the gray(ish) background. My jpeg will provide enough contrast.

I've been wanting a theme like that (for the same reason) for my 9780 since I got it in December. Last night I found this one:

I think it will run on a 9700 too. All you'll need to do is reselect the background after applying the theme.
