Wont let me upload any music onto the device

I have downloaded music to my phone many times in the past 2 years but recently it doesn't allow me to transfer music files onto the phone, it shows me an error that says the device I have specified does not exist, check the location and try again. If any of you could help me figure this out I would really appreciate it because music on my bb is very important to me

More info would be useful. Do you mean downloading OTA or loading from your computer? Are you storing on a memory card or to device memory?

Im downloading from my computer using the USB cable to an 8GB SD card on the phone

If you go into Windows Explorer, can you see the SD card and it's contents? If not, try reformatting the card and then reloading it.

If your computer sees the card ok, go into "files" on the phone, navigate to the card and check if you can see your music files. You will need to remove the USB cable to do this.

If none of the above works, try removing the card and put it in the PC's card reader. Check again with explorer to see if it's readable.
