Why is it taking me so long to download OS .442?

I searched but could not find anything.

I've been thinking about upgrading to OS .422 so I decided to download it, but when I go to download the OS file, it says it is going to take 2-4hrs and doesn't move. The internet browser I am using is Google Chrome, is that my problem?

Maybe your internet is slow? Or the site you're downloading from is slow. One or the other, has nothing to do with the web browser. There is plenty of mirrors out there, use a different site..

My internet is running fine, not slow or anything. And the site is RIM, so that shouldn't be it either right?

took me a solid 45-50mins. problem is you can't really tell if it's frozen or what... just be patient. i downloaded it off my firefox browser running xP.. windows 7 was impossible!
