Default why dont I have password keeper

Hello everyone
Just upgraded my 8320 BB to a 9700 and am very happy. Big change. However I used "password keeper" extensively in my old BB. I can't find this app neither on my bold or in the BB world. I've tried downloading other apps that are similar in function but haven't found anything I like. My questions are:
•Should I have this App on my bold?
•can I export all info in that app to import it into my bold?
•any one having this issue please recommend similar and simple apps

Thanks in advance

Password keeper came on my bold. I am running OS 5 though, I don't know if OS 6 has password keeper.

Yes, you should have Password Keeper in a standard OS installation. I'm trying to recall whether it is in the Applications folder - it might be. You should also confirm that the icon itself is not hidden on the home screen.

I also believe you can do a selective restore of the old password database onto your new device via Desktop Manager.

As for similar apps, I have Ascendo DataVault. I liked it for desktop synchronization features, but lately I have been relying on BlackBerry Wallet instead.

Default "passwordkeeper" Here is how I finally got the app back

Finally. Thank you all for your help! AND.........restored all passwords
  1. Updated my BB9700 to OS6 ( worked great by the way -did it thru my BB desktop on my macbook)
  2. Went to the Apps icon on the top right of the Bb desktop app screen
  3. Left all checked boxes as is and checked "passwordkeeper" which was unchecked
  4. I let the program do its thing and let the bb restart.
  5. After confirming the "passwordkeeper" was installed, I went back to the desktop manager and did a restore from my old backup files but selected the file backup from my older Bb (8320). I have these files saved on my macbook as safety back ups
  6. I then let the app do its thing and there it was....."Passwordkeeper" in my apps folder with all my passwords I've been gathering for the last 4 years. Thank God.
Hope this helps guys because I went thru H*ll and back trying to find another password keeper and none worked for me.
