white screen/flickering.

So having a problem with a friend's 9700. Just got a new defender case/holster for it. Sometimes when u put the phone into the holster then pull it off, the screen turns white. If you slowly put it into the holster, u can start to watch it flicker. Sometimes its different colors. If and when the screen goes white, u can lock/unlock it and it'll go away. I popped the magnet in and out of the holster. So it's not a sleep issue. I read in another thread if u shake it, it could be a cable or solder issue. It does dim in and out a little when u shake it. Any ideas? BTW, its on bb6.

Sounds like your screen is on the way out. Sorry but seems as though the pressure from thae case is squeezing the front protective plastic causing the screen to bleed solid white. Do you have the same issue without the case?
