White screen 8520 - wiped & new LCD still white!
So I dropped this phone, and the screen broke. First I would see random colour lines across the screen, then it was blank and would only work if I pushed in the top left corner (were the connector for the screen is). Then it wouldn't work at all.
I bought a new LCD screen AND tried reinstalling the OS but all I get is a white screen - even with the NEW LCD screen.....

Wrong forum, this is the 9700 section. Do you still have the original screen? Take it to a repair shop and have them replace it for you instead. Chances are you got the wrong display.
