If it was described as oem, and it wasn't up to standard you should be able to get your money back. It's also possible that you got a faulty one and a replacement from that supplier could also work.

There are loads of these on ebay, just make sure to go for someone with good feedback, check the comments of buyers, pay with PayPal/credit card but not as a gift so you can get money back if it's not as described.

Most of them arent originals..and the sellers have good feedback cause the buyers are blind and cant tell the difference..
on amazon you can see its alot of bad feedback cause those screens they are lower pixel density..

you need to be careful as there are 3 different kinds of screen for the 9700
I'm currently trying to find out which one I need.
    The 001/111, the 002/111 or the 0004/111 for a 9700 blackberry Tmobile.

I have changed multiple screens from various BB models.
My experience with most is that you must first take it apart and check the number of the screen in the back and whether it is 001/111, 002/111, 004/111 or whatever and choose accordingly.
You can find them in ebay for a good price just look up for the model + screen ie; 9700 screen.
However; the problem I am having right now with this specific model is I've not found a screen identification number in the back of the screen I'm trying to replace.
This is making the repair a whole lot harder.Where to get an original screen for replacement..-wtf.jpg

you have 2 steps to do:
1/ disassemble your device and check your screen's number. Such as:001/004, 001/002,...etc.

2/ Buy another screen have the same code with your screen. You can buy from: amazon, ebay,... I recommend you should buy it from cnn.cn .

if you want to get an original screen you can try buying a dead 9700 and just replace it apart from that all you will get I believe is OEM.
