Default Weird problem: native Contacts and Browser behaves weird

I don't know how this happens. I've never really paid much attention to Contacts, but when I did today, I noticed it has broken

For some reason, I can't view some of my contacts, and I can't edit any entries. Doing that will freeze the application.

Also, Browser suddenly ignores the "default view" that I set in bookmarks. Usually it will ignore the "default view" set in "General Properties" in favor of the one set in Bookmarks. However, it no longer does, and I have to manually set the Default View when I browse my favorite sites.

I've tried to restart. Twice. It doesn't do anything. Is OS re-install the only option?

    Default

Have you recently updated any of your messenger apps like Windows Live or Yahoo?

The only view for your browser is in Options so not sure what you mean by bookmarks default view and general properties default view. Also what OS are you on?

    Default

I did update Yahoo! Messenger to version 3 via AppWorld

I'm using 5.0.0.979. When you add a bookmark you can set the default view for that particular bookmark, and the browser will use that view regardless of your setting in General Properties.

To be clear, I'm talking about the "General Properties" option beloe "Browser Configuration" and above "Cache Operations"
