Voice feedback [sidetone]

I have voice feedback when i use my 9700 bold bb,,,someone called it sidetone..any help in this area

Every phone (cell or landline) uses sidetone to give the user a sense of presence on the line which is why talking into a connected call sounds different than talking into a dead phone. It picks up a low level of outgoing audio and feeds your own voice back into the ear. The user usually isn't aware of sidetone because it is in sync with your speech.

If it is out of sync, then it is an echo and is more representative of a bad connection and not the phone.
