    Default Voice Dial Problems: Solution

For anyone that is having a hard time with the new BB9700 recognizing their voice for voice dialing if you do these steps it will help greatly.

    Options>Voice Dialing>Voice Adaptation.

It will take you through 15 voice commands and things to say then it will adapt your voice into the system so it is more recognizable in the future. The feature takes about 2-4minutes to complete and I haven't had a problem making a voice dial since. (Only had the phone for a day )

I believe this is a new feature for OS 5.0
Hopefully the people that didn't know about feature already see this and it helps them.
Just one more thing that I've found out about this phone that makes it amazing!!

I tried the voice adaptation solution several times. It does help with name recognition but not with phone numbers. It gets all the digits right may be once every 10-15 tries.

wow, I'm using the stock os (att .296) and I don't even have this option. It must have come with one of the beta os.

Ditto. I don't have that option either. Perhaps it's time to upgrade to a new OS!

No such option on my 5.0.0.330 (t-mobile) either. Sounds useful though.
