Unable To Save/Update Contact In Address Book

Can someone please help me out, i'm unable to save nor update a contact in my address book on my bold 9700. Every time i click "Add to contacts" or "edit" on a contact, nothing happens.
Anyone with a similar issue & possible solution please help me out

are you adding to the right list?
are there other lists from other email address?

have you thought of using BB protect, then wiping the device and restoring?

have you tried a battery pull?

Adding to the right list you mean???
- I'm talking of just the normal way you type a number on your screen, click on menu & select "Add to contacts". Also from my contacts lists i press "New contact" & nothing happens on both trials

- Yea my contact list happens to be split to 2 email addresses (i.e. Wireless sync)

- Yea, removed the battery for about 2 mins & still no solution

- i actually intend upgrading to OS 6.0.0.723. By then i should perform this step then see how it goes. Thanks for your suggestions

The icon only shows but i never installed it, probably another app i guess. Is there any way i can detect which app might be causing it

It may be Yahoo Messenger also. It started right after the updates last week.

A million & one thanks to Jojo212. Just tried his suggestion by deleting yahoo messenger & viola!!! It worked...

Thanks a Ton.. i was able to save contact, post uninstallation of Y! & MSN messenger.. It worked..

Hai guys,
I sync my contacts from in my outlook express there is more than 600. When I connect my BB and sync only some contacts add.. Others are only name is there I can't fine numbers... But still I have a contacts in my outlook pls help me
