Unable to click on links in browser
I looked at the other threads that were suggested when I was trying to create the thread but I have not been able to find a permanent solution to this problem.
I've only had the T-Mobile's BB Bold 9700 (OS v5.00.330 - I will update later) for about a week now and while nearly EVERYTHING is perfect I am running into two issues. Main one is one that surfaced today. I am all of the sudden unable to click on links using my trackpad while in the web browser. Why is this happening? After some research, I learned that it can be temporarily fixed by shutting down the unit and pulling the battery out. This will resolve the issue until, all of the sudden, I am unable to click on any links with the trackpad - I have to use the "enter" key. Switching from Column View to Page View does not fix the issue (it doesn't matter if I'm doing it from the General Properties option or just pressing "z"), none of the shift keys are on, and it's really annoying knowing that the phone does not function like it's supposed to.I don't think it's kind of any hardware defect as I can use my track pad to click on menus outside of the browser, and I am able to click on links after the pulling out the battery but it goes back to not working soon after. Is there a permanent fix to this issue?
Maybe the javascript is causing this problem but completely disabling javascirpt limits viewing webpages.
Another issue is that when I tried to send a couple of pictures which I took on my phone through my gmail account, the email was stuck at "scalings in progress" screen. What happened here?

It's definitely a bug and it happened to my 9700 once.I had to reboot and everything went back to normal. Never happened to me since but I'm pretty sure it has to do with the usual RAM leakage. Which means the phone will start to have problems after a few days without renooting (I.e 4-5 days) when the RAM goes unde 50-60 MB. Keep an eye on the memory when the browser starts misbehaving and go to options/status to check the memory.

I had the same problem with clicking links about a month ago. Battery pull did fix it for me though (well, reset with the keyboard then a reset through QuickPull). Maybe try the keyboard reset? I think the key sequence is alt + right shift + del.
A work around is to use the Blackberry menu to open the link, but that's a pain.
