    Default trackpad issues

I've had my 9700 for about a month and its in great shape and all, except I'm having trouble with my trackpad. It randomly stops working. I have to wait for a few seconds for it to start working again. Getting annoying.

Is there anything I can do to stop this or ?

what happend to my old bold 9700 before i got a replacement was the trackpad used to lean to a side. what i did to band-aid it was cut a piece of itouch screen protector (touch sensitive) and it was about the length and width of the trackpad, simply stick it on. I found it worked 10 times better and it felt better.

hint: if using this method with cheap itouch screen protector, cut out a piece that covers the buttons from phone to call end.( the top 4 main buttons plus the trackpad)

    HOPE THIS HELPS

I have an extra screen protector for this phone, I'm guessing that won't work right?

I had to get this replaced too, within 2 weeks so I'm trying to avoid doing it again.

it simply just sounds like a lagging phone. how often do you reboot? my phone does this often when i overwork it, especially in BBM group chats. a simple reboot shout fix it.

I am beting on "lagging phone syndrome" due to the processor being over stressed. Likely due to too much running in the background or not closing programs properly. Pulling the battery will fix till you leave too much open again.

Thanks. It does happen towards the end of the day so makes sense. So I shouldn't get it replaced?
