I don't think there is anything you can do, that seems to be a GSM issue. It happened when I tried Cingular (before they were bought by AT&T). At least I always knew when my phone was about to ring!!

I just turn off my comp speakers at work 'cause quite frankly my Berry takes precedence! ;-))
I will say though that it's much better with the 9700. Now its a slight buzz versus a gawd awful sound when I had an 8310. Not sure why??

Does your phone need to be right beside the speaker? I notice I only get interference when the phone is really close to a speaker.

Nah! I feel your pain. I have a pretty sweet audio setup in my car and the BlackBerry antenna always gets picked up by my amp! Its pretty frustrating. Screws up my music experience! Reason for this is, unlike other phones, the BlackBerry is always connected to the web, courtesy - push mail. So you need to live with this! 1000s of dollars on an audio system and I get to hear crystal clear disturbance

no. it's because of the interference of the RF frequencies.
