Theme from CrackApps

I downloaded a Theme from CrackApps and cannot locate it anywhere. My downloads folder is in a left/right toggle header (All/Favorites/Media/Downloads). It's not there. When I do a search, the only thing that comes up is a browser history of the download, when I try to download it again, it says it's already there. When I go into my Options>Display>Screen Display, under Themes it shows a "Bell" icon, says "Blackberry 6....(Active) next to it, has a blue "gear" icon that when clicked takes me to Home Screen Prefs that gives me only these options> "Launch by Typing" (Universal Search, Application Shortcuts) - "Wallpaper Settings" (Change Wallpaper, Reset Wallpaper) - "Number of Icon Rows" - "Downloads Folder" (Home/Media/Apps/Games) - "Reset to Default Settings".

Any help would be appreciated.

Is the theme OS5 or OS6? The theme will only work if it is compatible with your OS. To activate it Options > Display > Screen Display.

If the theme is for OS6 and you are running OS6 it should work. Do you have a link to the theme?

Ok... duh. Not compatible with my 9700. Sorry for taking up your time. I did check the compatibility, but assumed the compatibility check worked a different way (assumed that when I saw the Bold 9700 in the list, i was good to go). Again, my apologies.

No problem but make sure you delete it since it's not needed.

Options > Device > Application Management.

Spoke too soon. I did delete it, and installed another which is compatible, rebooted. Same exact string of events as above.

It does show in my Application list under Application Management - but that's about the only place I can locate it.

A lot of themes where posted prior to OS6 being released and where not updated. You need to look for themes that specifically say they are OS6 compatible. Check the forums here for free themes as well. Look in the 9780/9700/9650 forums for OS6 themes.
