Hi,

Updated my 9700 today. pressing the Mute button didn't got it into Standby Modus. So I read some posts telling that RIM changed it function only to mute incoming calls and mediaplay.

Questions:

How do i enter standby modus on my phone?
-Holding "A" simply puts it into keylock.
-I've looked in Options menu....did I miss something

When pressing Keylock the screen doesn't Dimm anymore but goes out in 1
second......can I modify that?

Lock and Standby are now combined. When you press the lock button it locks and takes it into standby simultaneously.

The fast dimming can't be modified.

Lock and standby are not combined on my 9700, they moved the standby button to the other side and the lock on where standby is.
