Default Address book Issues with Naming in SMS, MMS, anything.

Old BB: 8900
New BB: 9700

Old BB: When sending/receiving text messages it could pull the users name from my address book no matter how the number was typed into the address book.
Like these formats:
(416) 123 4566
416 123 4566
416-123-4566

New BB: Will not ever put a name to a number on anything without the contacts phone number being exactly in this format: 4161234566 and it's annoy as ****. Not just text messages, phone books, mms, sms, you name it if it's not in this format it won't link name to number.

Any possible setting i'm not seeing that i've turned on/off or just some new stupid feature thats supposedly to make things easier ?

Default

This was a bug in very early OS builds for the 9700, but was fixed by .423 I believe.

Just make sure you have the correct settings entered for Smart Dialling, and make sure you're running a recent OS version, and you should be fine
