Sendin SMS to the same person more than once?
Hey guys,
I just have question about sending an SMS to the same person more than once. I've got OS 5.0.0.593. I'm pretty sure it's been doing this for a while. I can't remember if it used to worked with older OS's.
Anyway, here's my problem. When I enter the same person's name 10 times, it seems to work, but then it doesn't show all the names. Here's what I mean.

Above: I enter the same person's name 10 times, and I hit ok.

Above: After I hit ok, it brings me to this page with the name only written twice. I have no idea why.
However, it works when I have different people entered.

After twelve years of therapy my psychiatrist said something that brought tears to my eyes. He said, "No hablo ingles."

Haha. I'm still a kid a heart.
Sometimes my friend will try to spam me, and I know my Blackberry has the potential to crush him, but not if it doesn't work like I thought it would. After twelve years of therapy my psychiatrist said something that brought tears to my eyes. He said, "No hablo ingles."

Why's that?

Its possible that the berry thinks you entering one name 10 times as incorrect and is automatically correcting it for you.
It doesn't make sense why you'd spam your friends but its your phone.

I just tried this... The software is "smart" enough to see this and only send on message. However you can still blast him with a copy-paste-enter!!!!
I do it to my wife sometimes just to **** her off when she is trying to pay at the grocery store or something. Of course I max out the volume and also change her ringtone for sms to a really good belch or bettet yet, a wet fart!!!
Some teenage clerks don't know what to do.... Really funny to watch. Kinda like farting in the isle while with her and running away afterwards making everyone that then passes by think she did it. LOL

It would even be better if "paste" was selected by default in the menu but I am pretty sure there is a keyboard shortcut.

Yeah, I guess the software autocorrects itself.
Usually, I don't even have coherent sentences, but a mix of random letters. I was thinking, what if I saved my friends number under a different name 10 times in my contacts, you guys think that'd work? After twelve years of therapy my psychiatrist said something that brought tears to my eyes. He said, "No hablo ingles."

You could speed it up with autotext.

I love how this started off with a guy getting dogged for being imature then he starts getting backed by more like minded indaviduals. Just for the record I've done then on numorous occations. my old 8300 would mass mail to the same person 10x and not fix it but with the chat style of my 9700 I just copy/paist
