saving received texts

just got a blackberry 9700 so busy setting it up and playing about.

i was wondering how can i create a folder for some received text messages to be saved into?

when in the text message > menu > save message it will save it

when on the home screen navigate to "saved messages" i think the default is it is under the applications folder.....

it doesnt have the option of save when i click on menu when in the text itself. can this be cause i dont have my media card in yet?
