Default Returning my 9700

Well I guess I should say, exchanging... but I want to return my 9700 and get another because I am not happy with the squeaking trackpad and frame(specially by the screen...) Think any problems will arise? AT&T is my provider. And do I have to go to the store I purchased from(making it easier), or any will do.

Thanks for your time, I know, pretty simple questions...

There might be a problem if the only issue is the noise. If the trackpad is functioning properly they might not let you exchange. Now if you are within 30 days it shouldnt be a problem I would think.

Ha! The phone didn't even come out 30 days ago, so I'm sure you are well within the 30 days and fine.

Look carefully at your new one as it could have problems, too. AT&T only allows so many exchanges.

I got it replaced no problem. The frame isn't squeaking, the trackpad is MUCH firmer.

All the 9700s ive seen have that lil bit of light on top or bottom of the blackberry and back buttons that illuminate.

I agree with you.
Some people feel that you should just settle for certain things because 'no device is perfect'.

I don't get that mindset, especially when talking about a product that you have to deals with for hours on a daily basis.

To another point, I had the iPhone, loved it, no problems. Only reason I got rid of it, I got bored of it. Never had a quality issue with it. The Bold 9000...Quality was great too! No squeaks, nothing, felt GREAT! RIM needs to step it up...I even check this phone, nothing on the spot, then I get home, and starts making the damn squeaks, wtf? Why couldn't it squeak at the store? And the people working don't really care, not their problem...

Quick Q. Did the Bold 9000 ever have problems from the getgo with quality? I only recently really got into BlackBerrys about 2.5 months ago. Thanks

So this be my 3rd one....why can't RIM make all the with great quality? Is it so hard to ask? Have a new click/squeak on the end call button. the top where the speaker/led is located, that is over exposed by the frame... I thought I checked it out perfectly at the store...wow. Guess to another one, larger city this time, hopefully have more...
