Remove phone from BES

Hi,

I have a 9700 which used to be on a bes however the server no longer exists. Is there a way to remove the bes association with the bes so i can update the os etc?

delete the IT policy, search the forums on how to that, check in tips forum (the first one in the display when you open the forums.crackberry.com page)
