How the heck do I remove the back cover? I dont want to break this thing. Does it just slide off. I dont see anything to press in

Yes it slides off. The first time is the hardest. I put my palm on the back and push away. The camera is pointed closer to me.

Yeah turn your phone over with the camera closest to your body, then with your two thumbs push and slide down by the bottom of the phone.
