Hi everyone, I am having issues with my red indicator light flashing, I have no new messages,e-mails or texts. Was wondering way this keeps flashing and is there a way to turn it off. Thanks for the help.

Mmmm.... Led coverage is green.... you cannot "disable" the red flashing unless you configure that from the message alert option (Message/Options/General Options/Display New Message Indicator).
If your led flashes in red it maybe a missed call, a BBM message.... but definetely you cannot get rid of that red led blinking by diasabling led coverage.. - 08-09-2010, 09:10 PM #6
Sometimes the light goes rogue and continues to flash even after you've acknowledged the event it was intended to advertise.
When this happens, I've had some success going into the "edit profiles" section, choosing an notification type that has an LED indicator assigned to it, and clicking on the "Try It" button (you don't actually have to change anything -- you're just trying to get the device to make something else signal the LED), once the demo is finished, usually the LED will remain off.
If that doesn't work, battery pull. - 08-10-2010, 05:21 AM #7

Yeah I "turned off" my LED indicator light a long time ago... Lol. I've had my device get "confused" too and have always been able to fix it old skool (battery pull.) Glad everyones input here helped you to solve your issue.
Take Care :-)

I've also found that sending myself a quick email or something else to trigger the LED notification and then reading that message will typically solve the problem, too.
