random freeze issues with ATT OS 5.0.0.979
anyone else having the same issue? I installed using app loader after wipe to 507 Error on BBSAK...

It's probably a device-specific bug. If it's at random, there isn't much you could do about it.
If it's an app causing it, you might want to see what's running by pressing and holding the BB Menu key to show the task switcher and switch to running apps to close them.
The 5 that won't close are: BBM, Phone, Messages, Browser, Homescreen.

Running it for about 5 days, haven't had any problems, working great

I've had issues as well. Lag and freezing in BBM, email text and the clock of death...seems to happen when the battery is below 50%. All apps are closed and my Wifi is off if that matters any. It's random as well, but I'm hoping a new battery is the trick to fix it.

it is the Facebook app that causes these freezes.
Go into Facebook app. Menu > Options > scroll all the way down to "Check for new feeds".
set to Never.
no more freezes. feeds will only be updated when you open facebook.There are 10 types of people in the world: those that understand Binary, those that don't, and those that don't expect this signature to be in base 3.
