Default IT Policy

Just a general enquiry. I realise my 9700 has an IT policy applied (our company upgraded and let us each keep our old BB). I want to update to OS6, is this possible with an IT policy installed? I'm currenty using it on BIS with Vodafone with no problems.

Just want to know, before I start downloading all sorts of stuff, and trying to remove the policy, as currently it hasn't bothered me. I just want to update!

Cheers!.

Patience ....

There's no way for us to know what the IT Policy blocks or doesn't block. Your best bet is to remove the IT Policy. If you are not on a BES, there's no reason to keep it.

But if you don't want to do that (for whatever reason) then the only way to know if you will be able to update is to try it.

Either way you will have your answer.
