Please help"white screen"
Recently my bold has been turning to a white screen whenever it wants to and even when i put it into my pocket or holster. i usually have to press the lock button, and the end button, for it to work again, but lately i have to hold the bottom right far side of the screen when pressing the unlock key for it to turn show up without an all white screen. As of right now i still cannot get it to work unless i am holding or pressing the bottom right side of the screen.
" by the way there are 2 small green dots on the screen only when working"
will post youtube vid today of problemLast edited by acewoodz; 05-16-2012 at 09:32 AM.

While I don't recommend opening up your BB to most, I'm assuming the warranty on your 9700 is over and opening it up won't cause you any grief.
Here's some solutions I've located for you with common issues:

I recently fixed my "white screen of death" (or whatever you want to call it). I was having the white screen almost everytime I used the trackpad (scrolling) or sometimes just on its own coming from a pull/reboot. I took my phone apart (vids on youtube if you don't know how) then I put some electrical tape on both sides of the ribbon which connects the lcd to the board. I was sceptical that this would work but it was a last ditch effort before ordering another screen. I'm extermely happy with this fix. My 9700 is working flawlessly!
