Exclamation Please help me fix this

Why when I take a call it goes from 3G to GPRS automatically? This is the most annoying thing ever I usually do 15+ calls and internet while in a call is the main reason I got a 9700 from my 8900. I've gone with all the latest leaks and all of them have the same problem.

    Please help.

I wish that were possible. We can force it to use 2G only, but not 3G only. Or am I missing something I didn't know about??

I have 2G, 3G and 2G & 3G ... three options.. i suppose some carriers may have disabled the choice.

It drops to GPRS and when the call ends it then picks up EDGE and then 3G. And I don't have a 3G only option. I have 2G and 2G & 3G.

I WISH I had that 3G only option. What carrier are you with? Would loading that OS even GIVE me that option?

I use a 9700 from tmobile, I don't see a gprs option on mine, but when I go into the manage connections icon I have the option of choosing to uncheck boxes for wifi and blue tooth etc. Also, I can go into the settings icon, then options icon, then in the list I can go to mobile network, then in the connection preference drop down box I can choose from, Mobile network only, preffered, or wifi only, etc.
    Hope this helps
