Please crackberry nation, HELP

long story short, 9800 died, ordered 9900, while waiting for delivery thought i'd use my old 9700. haven't used it in over a year. it's an unlocked phone that i used problem free on rogers before. Still with rogers, put sim in and phone works, i get the 3G with the dots, facebook works, browser, app world, but no email, no bbm, no whatsapp. I switched devices on bis, sent service books but wont work! rogers wont help me with a non rogers phone. I do remember vaguely that after i got my 9800 i updated my 9700 to OS 6 just cuz but never checked it it worked. As it is i lost all my data on my dead 9800 so i will need the year old stuff on my 9700 to transfer onto my new phone when i get it. any and all help will be so greatly appreciated!

If you backed up your 9800 on DM then why not just use the Device Switch Wizard to transfer to your 9700. As for the year old 9700 I am assuming you have a backup of your 9700 when you updated to OS6.
