    Default Phone Memory

    Hello,
    I am using BB bold 9700, OS 6.0.0.54. My problem is that when I phone memory getting filled automatically and hang my phone when the memory remains about 5mb, even I enabled memory clean but didn't solved my problem it cleans memory about 50-100kb only.
    when I restart my phone (battery remove method), after this phone memory is about 37mb remaining, about after a week phone memory getting low.
    whats the problem guys? Help me out.

    its called a memory leak.........its a common occurance of os 6 on 9700 thats why whenever you upgrade to os 6 you should shrink your os with software called bb boss ....once you download the software .....run it.....plug your phone in and remove software from your phone........default wallpapers......ringtones.....fonts etc.......your phone will run much smoother .......

    I don't even run much apps only excess 3-4 apps.
    can you explain me what is memory leak.

    Memory leak occurs when apps use memory and fail to release that used space. Try always closing unused apps from the memory.

    Some of the same happens with usual phone functions. Some OS releases seem better than others at recovering used memory.

    I never leave any apps open, always see twice whether they are closed or not.
    I watched my phone for 3-4 times, I restart my phone (battery remove) available space is around 37MB and at the end of the it is around 16.5MB, didn't used any app for that day.
