Default OS6 Memory leak advise

Guys,

A little advise about the memory leak, I installed os6 and every reboot had 45mb within hours had less than 10mb.

Here is my advise, I deleted "Purged messages" and "Content store", went from rebooting 2/3 times daily, to rebooting every 3/4 days.

its most likely an app
try not using google maps or facebook.

close all apps open when not using them

look into shrinking your OS. booting with 45 is not alot.

There is a known OS leak with OS6. Mine is poor. I hardly have anything running and have 35mb at best. Well messed up.

Absolutely nothing wrong with OS6 if you manage it properly and it's superior to OS5.

OP, you need to shrink it well before it will function OK. Starting with 45mb is not enough.

try installing hybrid OS's. i restart my phone every 2-3 weeks. I have 93mb free with 16 apps installed.

and there are apps out there that are called "memory boosters". all they do is clean your memory every 5 10 15 30 60 90 minutes. they all have very good reviews and they do help.

I am former owner of the 9700. I actually like OS5 better than 6. The 624Mhz CPU is not good enough to handle the fluidity of OS6 and I didn't really liked having less than 50MB of space.

For those that insist with OS6 I advise you to upgrade to a version .660 or higher (if you have T-Mobile .448 will be fine). With these version memory leak became a thing of the past as well as the missing cursor issue.
