OS 5 or OS 6
pls advise me i want to go back to OS 5. i need more memory to open some important website

Keep BB6 and use Opera. The BB5 browser is terrible. If BB6 web kit won't open it, chances are BB5 won't come close.

Download this: BB Boss Version 2.2
Shrink everything you don't want/need (fonts, languages, IT policy, ringtones, etc.) . Should give you more memory. - 08-02-2012, 03:17 PM #5
I have had no issues with 9700/6.0.0.615 I don't use any shrinking apps, I only delete the os samples/video,music files. Works like a charm. I acctually found using BBBoss or BBSAK to modify my OS, slowed it down dramatically. I always have between 95-110 mb free depending on what I install afterwards.
