Default Ordered my ATT Bold 9700 - $75 net cost

Hello

I just ordered my 1st blackberry today and got it for $75. I called the 611 number and told them I was thinking of going to Tmobile because I could get the Bold 9700 from ATT this week for $30 after their price of $130 and a get gift card making it $130 and I would have to get it now and could not wait until ATT released the phone. Well they made a great offer. The price went to $175 and they gave my account a credit of $75 making the phone cost of $100. Also there was no shipping charge for Fedex (not overnight but that is ok) and as I was entitled no $18 renewal fee. The call got lost but they called back and I was in a meeting. I called back and everything had been recorded. I was on hold for a good while and the CS person offered free minutes. I asked for money as I have too many rollover minutes. They gave my account $25 more credit and that made the phone $75. It is now shipped and it will soon arrive and I get to experience the best phone on the market.

Congrats to you... I can get mine at $99. I'm trying to less though.

These 9700 prices are dropping faster than anyone could have imagined.

Ehh I'm satisfied with my $163 after mail-in rebate.
A few months ago I called because they had no good phones available for upgrade and they gave me a free month's service... so if you guys are being ridiculous about how you're obtaining this impossible pricing then I outdid most of you.
it's all good

Keep in mind that everyone here with their crazy cheap discounts are signing a new 3yr contract...they might be paying spare change for the phone but the carrier will more than make up for it over 36 months!

I only had to agree to a 2yr contract which being I've been with them 7yrs it's no big deal they have the best coverage nationwide and IMO best prices for the service I use. I'm locked in to old pricing and on a unlimited plan for my data card as well as phone, so it's the best bang for the buck and I think the 9700 is a sweet phone a big upgrade from the pearl I've been using for the past 2yrs.

Oh yeah...I forgot that 3yr in Canada = 2yr in US

American carriers don't even push for 3yd, right?
