Default Old 9700

I've upgraded a 9700 to os.6 and now trackpad is kinda lagging any advice?

there is your problem. you cannot do nothing but official updates on the mac. you can only on windows (pc)

Can you use a friends PC to downgrade? Just follow the guide in Blackberry 101.

Altenitively, make sure you upgrade to one of the latest OS6 builds. 668 or 723. Both of these OS's are pretty solid now.
