Lol jus what I was wondering...I guess if the official has no memory leak then it would be worth it.
Waiting to hear from others!

Good choice for an official. It was very stable for me as I ran it without rebooting a single time. It was just for a week though, then the .418 leaked and I went along with that.
As I remember it was very stable, but it still had its quirks: Rss feeds not showing automatically and cursor in SMS missing (both fixed in later leaks)
Had it not been for the rss feeds not showing, I could see myself going back to this one.

Looks like I'll have to bite the bullet and try OS 6.

From my experience there are no differences between leakes versions and the ones that goes official. (within same version number)
So for findings we can check the .380 leaked thread.
That being said I remember .380 as stable, but still with some bugs that was fixed in 418/424

Looking forward to feedback concerning the sudden drop in battery charge, that's my main concern so far.

Bugs Fixed?
Since the platform, release number, etc. is the same, that would be my thought. However, if those who believe the bugs are placed there purposely are correct, maybe they are removed in this official version. But it's hard to imagine RIM wouldn't change the release number or something to differentiate it from a buggy version. Someone will have it installed shortly and report back I hope.
My interests are:
1) Memory leak
2) Battery level drop
3) Cursor issues
4) Social Feeds load speed (was horrible in the leaked version; fixed in recent leaks)
5) A couple of issues I have noticed with an app I use called CacheSense (for geocaching) including speed of GPS fix which has been slow in all leaks compared to OS5. - 01-06-2011, 10:24 AM #18
Funny this is out today as I just rolled back to it last night.... The 2 leaks past .380 have worse cursor issues and poorer battery life.... For my Rogers 9700 .380 has been best !

If this BBM cursor thingy is fixed I am taking the plunge to this bad boy. Been holding off on all these leaks.

for me, .418 has been the most stable... .380 gave me memory leak trouble
but because its an official release does that mean it would be better to have and probably not have those problems embedded in them? Should i go get the official?8120>8520>9700 + PB16Gb = Rocking Combo!
