Hi Everyone,

I have had my 9700 for almost 3 yrs and have never seen this icon. It is in the upper left corner of the screen right between the sound indicator icon and the time/date.

It's a little blue square with the Blackberry symbol ( 4 dots) and a little man figure.

It has been driving me crazy for hours now. I've gone through everything and can't find anything that needs updating.

Help please.

I'm trying to get a good picture. Its real small so it's hard.

It looks like the My World icon in the BB app world. The difference is it does not have the circle around the BB logo ( four dots).

Ok. I'm not getting any update promts. Do you know how to do the ID update?

Do you have the notification bar on your device? Click on it. (That's what I did.)

Otherwise, go into BlackBerry App World and look there.

I got rid of it.

I had to go into the options menu then into Blackberry Update.
