Default noob in need of help......

Hi guys I have a Bb bold 9700, this a work device on which they have loaded a bespoke app that allows our company to send out jobs and let's us send them back to base when completed. OK now for the question what I would like to do is copy this app to my newly purchased Playbook (which I adore) so I can run the app on the Playbook and save myself from going blind as they have crammed so much onto the screen.
Any advise or step by step instructions would be greatly appreciated.

The app would have to be made for the Playbook by the developer. Have you searched app world for it?

The app was made specially for our company so its not available anywhere else, so was hoping to grab it from the bold ,convert to run on the playbook if required and then just use it while using the bolds internet to send it back to base. Am I being a tad hopeful ?!

I would contact the developer ASAP with a request to scale it up so that it function properly.

There is maybe ONE possibility where it could work: if it's a web-based app that only requires browser access. There's a small chance it might work on your PB if it's bridged to your phone.

Otherwise, not a hope. If it's a real, compiled app, the only way it's going to work is for the developer to recode/recompile so it will work on the PB. If it's a WebWorks (HTML-based) app, that might not be hard at all, but if it's Java-based, it would take some work.

Suggest it to your employer. Try to support the suggestions where using a PB would save the company time/money in the long run, and maybe it will be worth their while to go back to the original developer.
