    Hello,

Today i upgraded to BB OS 6. All is working great. I just have a very small issue:

The cusror in chat is not showing up. It shows when I am typing but it does not shows when i am browsing the chat.

I am refering to BBM Group chat.

    Any help ?

    Thanks.

That is a known bug in OS 6 on the 9700 on the current leaks. Wait for an official release

Sure. That's the beauty of a blackberry over iPhone. Put whatever OS you want on there!

I would downgrade if the known buig was bugging up the normal use of your blackberry.

If you scroll up in the chat and hit the aA key your cursor will appear and you can copy what you need. It's annoying, but not worth the downgrade for me.

EXCELLENT workaround! Very annoying bug and very easy workaround. Makes cursor appear in chats, emails and anywhere else the cursor dissapears.

    Thanks!

[I]I'm not sure what this cursor bug in OS6 you guys are talking about. I just upgraded to the official one yesterday but I don't seem to have that issue. Unless I am and don't know that its the bug. Or maybe I haven't had much time with it yet? Either way, I'm liking it so far/I]

... just push shift... then again it's a temporary solution until it gets fixed by another OS release... or leak...

Try the search button next time, to see if your problem isn't known yet.

In case you didn't notice, the thread was started almost two months ago. At the time of the post, OS6 for 9700 was only out for a few weeks. It was a relatively new problem then.
