ok. so my trackpad started acting up a while ago. at first it would stop scrolling here and there. then one day it stopped working all together. now.... the clicker wont work, the trackpad doesnt work. but all the buttons work.


I replaced the trackpad and same thing... no luck. any ideas?

Would you consider doing a wipe of the device then reloading the OS its worth a try you may need to bring the phone back to original factory settings...
I purchased on line a while back a 9700 that was acting up that`s the first thing i did i`ve since sold it but it was working great after i wiped and reloaded OS before i sold it..

Yeah mine started acting up a while ago. my problem is that I cant even reset it because the trackpad cant move. Any ideas. and waw PALeafs I might just end up doing that hehe. sounds like a funny story how much did you sell your broken bb9700 or was it 'working' during the trade increasing its value
