Default Need help!

Ok, so I have been with T Mobile and the reception in my area just sucks. I'm switching to ATT. I was going to get the 8900 on ATT but saw that the Onyx is coming. It's definitely something I'm going to wait for. The things i need in a phone is simply for it to be up-to-date. As far as the 8900... it is up to date but I don't like the chrome bezel, the cheap plastic back cover, and the idea of it not having 3g. This is why I'm waiting for the Onyx (or to see what the Magnum will look like). BUT I happened to find an Android phone as well I might be interested in called the HTC Lancaster. Without any biased opinions do you think the Onyx will be better than the Lancaster?

Blackberry OS vs. Android Os?

The things I look for in a phone are... nice Os, easy to navigate around, good QWERTY keyboard, beautiful screen, CHAT-like SMS, good reception, customizable OS, an app store, and good connectivity (3g, wi-fi)

Any advice?

The BlackBerry keyboard/s are the best in the business, hands down. It doesn't get any better. The BlackBerry OS, by design, is simple and very easy to use. In regards to customaztion, you can make your own, or get a custom themes, but since the majority of BlackBerry users are professional/business/corporate users, the OS/UI isn't as customizable/toyish as other devices. BlackBerry users are mostly concerned with how the device functions. SMS is threaded, in its own way although not like Palm or the Iphone. BlackBerry users have BBM, which is great and is threaded like you want. BlackBerry does have an App Store although in its infancy. There are lots of apps for BlackBerry's and will continue to grow in number. The Onyx is UMTS/HSPA capable and also has Wifi. It also has a very good camera w/AF. At launch, it will be the best BlackBerry on the market.
