Default Must Turn Mobile Network Off/On to Access Web

Greetings, have had this 9700 for about a year now, on AT&T. It always worked great until about a week ago. Suddenly, now, when I try to access the web (any site, doesnt matter which) I get an error message saying "unable to find the requested server." I've found that at this point if I go and turn off the mobile network, and then turn it back on again, I am able to browse the Web again with no problem. Once a few hours of idle time passes, if I then try to access the Web again, I get the same error message, and the cycle repeats itself.

So, I am able to access the Web, as long as I go through the mobile network off/on workaround. It's really frustrating to have to keep doing that, though. During the times that I can't access the Web, email/text/phone all work fine.

Does anyone have any thoughts about what could be causing this?

turn your network off
try taking you battery out and cleaning your SIM card and SIM slot.
turn your network back on

that usually always helped me

but i later found out that it was also my network. whenever that happened it was due to a weak signal and when you refresh the network it gets fixed

I recommend calling AT&T and seeing if there is something on their end that's causing the data service to drop out.

honestly, I have no idea but contact At&t, maybe they can help you with this..
Did you made some changes or something like that in your device settings before this issue started?

Thanks everyone. Here's an update:

I did not make any changes to the phone prior to the issue starting. It just...started.

I called AT&T support, but could not describe the problem in a way that made sense to the tech I spoke to...so that ended being a dead end.

But, the problem ended just as quickly as it had started. After about 8 days, it just completely stopped happening, and the Web always works now. Again, I didn't change any settings to make it go away...it just happened.

So, maybe some temporary AT&T issues? This is in and outside of NYC.
