Default Molested card reader and trackpad?

Hello everyone!

Today I've received my new blue trackpad.
I thought it would fit my blue casing I've swapped before.
So I opened my BB and couldn't find how to swap the black trackpad with the blue one really. So I went to YouTube and found a tutorial how to do so.

I tried it and I switched the black one with the blue one. Fine. So I turned my BB back on again and noticed it said there wasn't anything on my SD card. So I probably did something wrong since it cannot read it now. I think I molested the connector, but I'm not sure yet. Also noticed I can click with my new trackpad, but can't navigate with it.

Also I noticed the black one was glued on top of the orange connector thingy, the blue one is a bit loose now too since there's no glue anymore.

Here's some pictures of the problem.

Thanks in advance!

Well, you voided the warranty of your blackberry (if any), likely you also damaged the SD card slot reader module too. I suggest going to a repair shop and then have them replace the broken parts.

The ribbon cable above the screen that you have to detach to remove the PCB is the connection for the SD card. Did you damage it or forget to reattach it?

Yes, but if it doesn't work, it's screwed.

Bring It to a repair shop if you don't know how to reattach it.

I meant for both. Go to a repair shop. Then they'll be reattached and you'll have a functioning blackberry again.

So there are no easy guidelines to reattach them?

some of the aftermarket trackpads or trackpad CAPS are a lil bit too big for the original trackpad space in the keypad itself.....so it may only select but you wont be able to scroll with it properly

does it seem a lil bit too TIGHT when you select?

and to the memory card reader issue, the reader is attached to the circuit board via a ribbon so maybe while you were disassembling the phone, the ribbom may have been "nicked" or cut or damaged ...idk .I'm just assuming Check the physical condition of the ribbon itself or the connector on the board itself
