Default Memory and Battery apps ??

Hey guys I just join this great site and I just go my first Blackberry. I already found some questions that I was looking for but still few left.

Anyways here are my questions -

1. Is there any app to stop battery drain ?? (My battery last for day and I sometimes I dont have time to recharge)
2. What about memory apps ?? I tried BeJoose and I didnt see better preformances

Thanks in advance

What apps do you have running in the background? The best way to conserve battery life is to not run apps in the background, such as Facebook/Twitter (close out the apps, and only refresh them manually when you open them). Also reduce your backlight brightness and timeout. Turn off GPS when it is not needed.

An app for memory actually uses memory itself. You are better off considering shrinking your OS, especially if you are running OS 6, rather than using a "memory app". Those "memory apps" are pretty worthless.

To turn off GPS, go to Options>Device>Location Settings> Location Service and change from on to off.
