Major problem at startup!!!!
The phone doesn't want to reboot. It stays at the blackberry windows around 10 mins and then it appears this :

This happened just after I updated my email settings.
I tried to pull off the battery, soft reset it, i can't wipe it cause i cannot access this option. The only window that i see is this one ^^. I don't feel like taking back to blackberry cause I just received it yesterday from repair....
How can i restart the phone i don't mind losing the data I just want to wipe it and start overLast edited by wolfsburg_04; 06-06-2011 at 01:07 PM.

Have you tried wiping and reloading the OS? That may very well solve the problem.

Download a program called BBSAK and use its wipe option, then follow the steps in the link above. Be warned, wiping will cause you to lose everything so try to make a backup of important data, such as contacts, with Desktop Manager first. - 06-06-2011, 02:24 PM

Sorry for the delayed response. Unfortunately, you'll need a Windows PC to do the process I've described. BlackBerry capabilities are very limited when it comes to Macs; all we get is the Mac version of Desktop Manager, and even that's not very good compared to the Windows version. I frequently get freeze-ups or lag when using the Mac DM to backup my BB. If you're primarily a Mac user like myself, you have three options when it comes to solidly working with your BB's OS (upgrading, downgrading, etc.):
1. Use BootCamp to install a Windows partition.
2. Use virtual machine software to run Windows as a virtual OS within OS X (with apps such as VMware Fusion or Parallels). This is my preferred way of going about it.
3. Ask to use a friend's Windows PC.
For option 1, you will need a Windows installation CD with a product key. For option 2, you can also a Windows installation CD but a disk image will also work.
