    Default keypad keeps locking

My keypad keeps locking. I have searched for a fix, or to see if I'm doing something wrong. I can't figure it out. Help me. After a minute or so, the keypad is locked again.

Do you have a password enabled on your device... Options > Password ??? Timeout might be set to a minute, or so.

I have exactly the sam eproblem on my 9900. Password is enabled and the timeout is 15 minutes; however, keypad and screen locks frequently while I am typing. If I am not using keypad, it does not lock (means, I can use five buttons above key pad for a long time without locking). I am not sure if there is a keypad patter that locks or keypad thinks two keys are pressed at the same time. I tried to simulate if it locks when two keys are pressed at the same time and no it does not lock when two keys are pressed at the same time so it does not seem to be a stuck key issue either). If possible, I would liek to completely disable keypad screen locking. Password protection alone is sufficient for security and accident dialing.

It must be a hardware issue then. Mine never did that before, nor has my 9900.
