Default Just upgraded my 8900 to the 9700 and all I can say is WOW!

Ok, I know there has been a ton of reviews on the people who have just got their 9700, but I thought I would chime in my opinions as well for those who are on then fence to upgrading.

I had the curve 8900 before and upgraded to this bad boy and I must say I have don't regret it one bit. For the record i also own a bold 9000 as well so I can give you opinions on how this compares. I was hesistant to get this device because i have fat fingers and heard that it because of it's smaller size it might be challenging to to to type on this thing. Well surprise it was easier for me compared to the 8900 and the 9000. Much more space than the curve and less of a strain for me on my thumbs and fingers than the 9000. While i have fat fingers i have medium to large size hands , but still had to strain to type on the 9000, with the 9700, I find it much easier to type on. No strain on the hands and since it is similar to the bold keyboard types smooth as silk. Everything on is super fast and the trackpad in my opinion is well worth the upgrade. I was one of the few who felt that the 9000 was a bit big for my taste. I keep mine in my pocket which is why I like the the smaller size. One thing I had a problem with my curve was the speaker volume was not loud enough for me to hear the other person on the line, with the 9700 was just as loud as the bold for me. I just am so happy with this device and the best blackberry i have owned to date and I have used blackberrys for years. If you are on the fence, jump over to the dark side you won't be dissappointed.

+1 ... i had purchased the bold 9000 the day it came out, only to return it a few weeks later and went back to my curve 8310, it was too big (thats what she said, haha, i couldnt resist) ... i purchased the tmobile 8900 and unlocked it to use it on at&t, then switched over to the at&t 8900 when it was released and have been using it ever since. i picked up my bold 9700 yesterday and all i can say is "wow" ... you get the power (and then some) of the original bold in the size of a curve, i couldn't ask for a better phone!! yet another satisfied bold 9700 owner ... just like the previous post states, dont be afraid to switch, you wont regret it!!!

I'm still rocking the 9000, any reason to change?

I came from 9000 and 9700 fits just perfectly in my hand. Feels compact but loaded with the most advanced features. Good thing comes in small package, doesn't it?
