    Default Inconsistant Memory?

Kinda random, but I've noticed when I open my camera to take a picture it'll tell me something like, "45 pictures remaining" .. But then next time I open my camera it'll say, "3 pictures remaining" .. And then another time, "30 pictures remaining." ... Why does it change so much? I don't have a memory card so its all device storage. And I never have more than maybe 10 pics at a time on my phone. I'm running OS 6

Device storage for media isn't very big and you can soon fill it with pictures/songs etc. You should really fit an SD card and store all media there instead of in device memory.

This is more important when running OS6 as you are very limited with memory anyway.

SD cards are cheaper nowadays at most big name and small name stores. 2, 4, 8, 16 and 32GB cards, 2GB being the lowest in price.
Besides, I wouldn't want to store anything in device memory besides apps.

Yeah put in a 4GB to 8GB should be suffice already. But device memory will always fluctuate, because when we close certain applications, it's also from the remaining application memory.

You can also alter the amount of memory reserved for media. In Media Options it's the first item ("Built-in Media Storage Limit") with options of 5 MB, 15 MB, or 32 MB. I have tinkered with this option and it has no impact on the amount of RAM available for the general operation of the device. In other words, changing it will not change the amount of free RAM that shows up in, say, Application Storage.
