I wonder what wrong with my 9700
i got my blackberry from USA-AT&T......now i am not living in USA, so i need to have my phone unlocked. after unlocking i can use any desired carrier in the country i am living now. Everything runs smoothly except one thing, i cant use Facebook APP, Browser, or any other App in my blackberry with the 3G of the carrier i am using now.
I have been to Host Routing Table, to register my device....but i did not get any sms back after pressing register now.
Now i wonder how can i make those application work on 3G. I am sure that the 3G is working as i can browse the internet via OPERA MINI.
Can anyone help me? Using Facebook APP on 3G is the most important for me as i am not gonna stick myself around WIFI Router.
Now i am using Blackberry Bold 9700 6.0 Bundle 2949 (v6.0.0.668, platform 6.6.0.236)
Any helps would be highly appreciated...and i am sorry in advance if my post has been posted so far. - 05-01-2012, 10:48 AM #2
did you take the IMEI/PIN off of ATT and register your IMEI/PIN with your new carrier?
you can not just put a sim card in and all is good
call your new carrier and make sure the IMEI/PIN are properly associated with your new BIS accountBIG UP BIG UP, ITS A STICK UP STICK UP
I may be blunt, but it was the only way you would understand! @Fubaz

Do you have a BLACKBERRY Data Plan with your current phone service provider?
Without the proper data plan, you won't be able to use data services such as Facebook.
