I threw my Blackberry Bold 9700 on the ground. My BlackBerry Bold 9700 Bottom Antenna - OEM broke off. I put it back on but now I can't get any signal. I'm stuck with the S.O.S. signal. Do I have to replace the bottom antenna or is the inside broken? Please help! I love this phone!!

Additional information: My phone still works like it normally does before it broke. I can use Wi-fi and stuff, I'm just stuck with the S.O.S.

If you loved that phone, why throw it on the ground? You've caused the problem yourself.

Anyway, it's probably broken inside on impact. Sorry.

They go on ebay for fairly cheap used...best bet for sure...good luck and next time don't take it out on the BlackBerry...I am sure it didn't do anything to you...the 9700 is a great phone and deserves better.
Talk is cheap because supply exceeds demand.

    Buy a new phone.

Treat it better than you did the last one.

    As with the above replies.
Throwing any phone on the ground would render the device inoperable - depending on whether you dropped it or threw it. As this is your first post i'm hoping your not trolling. I'm a little bemused that you are posting this and then asking for help?

If you are a troll then let Kevin and Cleaning up the CrackBerry Forums by Taking out the Trolling Trash... take care of this

I really did break my phone. Would you like a picture to prove that?

No need to supply a photo, but it may help you to post as others here can assist. I am truly sorry for you. But why would you throw your BB (for whatever reason) and then ask for help? If the BB is broken beyond repair then your only alternative is getting your hands on another. By your reckoning it still powers up. That's a good sign. Back it up on DM and restore to the new device.

It certainly wasn't the brightest thing to do. Then again people do all sorts when they're mad.

Anyway sounds like you need a new component or simply take it to a shop to get it fixed...
