    Default "I" key fell out

I have had my 9700 for 2 months I clipped it on my belt clip, body glove and took it back off to put on holder in my car and when I looked at it the I key was gone.. I don't text very often, I didn't drop the phone, I have not abused it. It just fell out! When I called to find out what the warranty was they , Blackberry told me that it voided the warranty because it fell out. This phone is a piece of junk, it also just shuts off for no apparent reason, it shut off in the middle of the conversation with Blackberry. I have updated this phone and backed it up weekly. I paid alot for this peice of junk and now I'm stuck with it . my only option is to pay another $130 to have it replaced, through the insurance plan that I purchased. This phone is a big disappointment as is the company that produced it!

    No, no, no!

Call T-Mobile and tell them that the key fell out. That is a hardware issue and
shouldn't happen with a 2 month old phone. TMO handles the warranty, not RIM.
RIM pretty much hands off issues of warranty to the carriers.

Forever is right. If the CS rep gives you a hard time, hang up and call back until you get someone who knows what they're doing. Don't let them get away with this.
